World Handicap System (WHS) Information Seminar
The Florida State Golf Association will be conducting a complimentary Seminar pertaining to the World Handicap System (WHS) at Ardea Country Club on Thursday, September 17 from 4:00-6:00 pm. The WHS is designed to unify golf handicapping worldwide, ensuring fairness, consistency, and ease of use for golfers of all levels and backgrounds. Topics will include Course and Slope Rating, Minimum Number of Scores to Obtain a Handicap, Acceptable Scores for Score Posting, Maximum Scores for Posting as well as other details as they relate to the WHS. There will be a Member Charge Cocktail Reception following the Seminar and brief Q & A, and this event is open to the first forty (40) registrants. Register on the Invited App or call 727.784.8576. 2026 Superintendents Revenge
We are excited for the upcoming Superintendent's Revenge being played on Saturday, September 19th! The event will begin at 9:00 AM with a Shotgun Start on the South Course. The format will be Gross Scramble. The lowest score will be identified, but no prize money will be distributed. Players can make their own Foursomes or sign up as Individuals and the Golf Shop will find you a Team. The intent of the Superintendent's Revenge will be to gather and see who can conquer Matt Eichmann's imagination.
