First Serve Team: Tennis

First Serve Team The First Serve Team is an introductory tennis competition program designed to help young players build confidence and develop a love for the game in a fun and supportive environment. Using green dot low-compression tennis balls, the pace of play is slowed and the bounce is lowered, allowing for longer rallies and more enjoyable match play at an earlier age. This program is offered for two age groups: Ages 4–6 Ages 7–12 Matches will take place on Fridays, with all competition hosted at Medina Golf & Country Club. Players will serve from the service line and compete using no-ad scoring, with the first player to win four points winning the game. Areas of Focus Learning tennis rules, scoring, and sportsmanship Developing control, consistency, and rally skills Improving net clearance and groundstroke power Creating higher arc serves to increase consistency into the service box Building confidence and comfort in a competitive setting Inspiring a lifelong passion for the game of tennis

GMMO Swim Team Mock Meet

GMMO Swim Team The GMMO Swim Team brings together swimmers from four private clubs—The Club at Golden Valley, Minneapolis Golf Club, Medina Golf & Country Club, and Oak Ridge Country Club—to compete each summer in the Western Swim League under the GMMO team name. Through the sport of swimming, athletes develop confidence, self-discipline, goal-setting skills, and teamwork in a fun and supportive environment. Our mission is to create a safe and encouraging atmosphere both in and around the water while building lasting friendships and team spirit among all participating clubs. Practice Information Swim team practices begin Monday, June 8 and continue through Tuesday, July 21. All GMMO Swim Team members are welcome to attend practices at any of the four participating club locations. First Serve Team The First Serve Team is an introductory tennis competition program designed to help young players build confidence and develop a love for the game in a fun and supportive environment. Using green dot low-compression tennis balls, the pace of play is slowed and the bounce is lowered, allowing for longer rallies and more enjoyable match play at an earlier age. This program is offered for two age groups: Ages 4–6 Ages 7–12 Matches will take place on Fridays, with all competition hosted at Medina Golf & Country Club. Players will serve from the service line and compete using no-ad scoring, with the first player to win four points winning the game. Areas of Focus Learning tennis rules, scoring, and sportsmanship Developing control, consistency, and rally skills Improving net clearance and groundstroke power Creating higher arc serves to increase consistency into the service box Building confidence and comfort in a competitive setting Inspiring a lifelong passion for the game of tennis

GMMO Swim Team

GMMO Swim Team The GMMO Swim Team brings together swimmers from four private clubs—The Club at Golden Valley, Minneapolis Golf Club, Medina Golf & Country Club, and Oak Ridge Country Club—to compete each summer in the Western Swim League under the GMMO team name. Through the sport of swimming, athletes develop confidence, self-discipline, goal-setting skills, and teamwork in a fun and supportive environment. Our mission is to create a safe and encouraging atmosphere both in and around the water while building lasting friendships and team spirit among all participating clubs. Practice Information Swim team practices begin Monday, June 8 and continue through Tuesday, July 21. All GMMO Swim Team members are welcome to attend practices at any of the four participating club locations. Using green dot low-compression tennis balls, the pace of play is slowed and the bounce is lowered, allowing for longer rallies and more enjoyable match play at an earlier age. This program is offered for two age groups: Ages 4–6 Ages 7–12 Matches will take place on Fridays, with all competition hosted at Medina Golf & Country Club. Players will serve from the service line and compete using no-ad scoring, with the first player to win four points winning the game. GMMO Swim Team

GMMO Swim Team The GMMO Swim Team brings together swimmers from four private clubs—The Club at Golden Valley, Minneapolis Golf Club, Medina Golf & Country Club, and Oak Ridge Country Club—to compete each summer in the Western Swim League under the GMMO team name. Through the sport of swimming, athletes develop confidence, self-discipline, goal-setting skills, and teamwork in a fun and supportive environment. Our mission is to create a safe and encouraging atmosphere both in and around the water while building lasting friendships and team spirit among all participating clubs. Practice Information Swim team practices begin Monday, June 8 and continue through Tuesday, July 21. All GMMO Swim Team members are welcome to attend practices at any of the four participating club locations. First Serve Team: Tennis

First Serve Team The First Serve Team is an introductory tennis competition program designed to help young players build confidence and develop a love for the game in a fun and supportive environment. Using green dot low-compression tennis balls, the pace of play is slowed and the bounce is lowered, allowing for longer rallies and more enjoyable match play at an earlier age. This program is offered for two age groups: Ages 4–6 Ages 7–12 Matches will take place on Fridays, with all competition hosted at Medina Golf & Country Club. Players will serve from the service line and compete using no-ad scoring, with the first player to win four points winning the game. Areas of Focus Learning tennis rules, scoring, and sportsmanship Developing control, consistency, and rally skills Improving net clearance and groundstroke power Creating higher arc serves to increase consistency into the service box Building confidence and comfort in a competitive setting Inspiring a lifelong passion for the game of tennis

GMMO Swim Team Mock Meet

GMMO Swim Team The GMMO Swim Team brings together swimmers from four private clubs—The Club at Golden Valley, Minneapolis Golf Club, Medina Golf & Country Club, and Oak Ridge Country Club—to compete each summer in the Western Swim League under the GMMO team name. Through the sport of swimming, athletes develop confidence, self-discipline, goal-setting skills, and teamwork in a fun and supportive environment. Our mission is to create a safe and encouraging atmosphere both in and around the water while building lasting friendships and team spirit among all participating clubs. Practice Information Swim team practices begin Monday, June 8 and continue through Tuesday, July 21. All GMMO Swim Team members are welcome to attend practices at any of the four participating club locations. First Serve Team: Tennis

First Serve Team The First Serve Team is an introductory tennis competition program designed to help young players build confidence and develop a love for the game in a fun and supportive environment. Using green dot low-compression tennis balls, the pace of play is slowed and the bounce is lowered, allowing for longer rallies and more enjoyable match play at an earlier age. This program is offered for two age groups: Ages 4–6 Ages 7–12 Matches will take place on Fridays, with all competition hosted at Medina Golf & Country Club. Players will serve from the service line and compete using no-ad scoring, with the first player to win four points winning the game. GMMO Swim Team

GMMO Swim Team The GMMO Swim Team brings together swimmers from four private clubs—The Club at Golden Valley, Minneapolis Golf Club, Medina Golf & Country Club, and Oak Ridge Country Club—to compete each summer in the Western Swim League under the GMMO team name. Through the sport of swimming, athletes develop confidence, self-discipline, goal-setting skills, and teamwork in a fun and supportive environment. Our mission is to create a safe and encouraging atmosphere both in and around the water while building lasting friendships and team spirit among all participating clubs. Practice Information Swim team practices begin Monday, June 8 and continue through Tuesday, July 21. All GMMO Swim Team members are welcome to attend practices at any of the four participating club locations. GMMO Swim Team

GMMO Swim Team The GMMO Swim Team brings together swimmers from four private clubs—The Club at Golden Valley, Minneapolis Golf Club, Medina Golf & Country Club, and Oak Ridge Country Club—to compete each summer in the Western Swim League under the GMMO team name. Through the sport of swimming, athletes develop confidence, self-discipline, goal-setting skills, and teamwork in a fun and supportive environment. Our mission is to create a safe and encouraging atmosphere both in and around the water while building lasting friendships and team spirit among all participating clubs. Practice Information Swim team practices begin Monday, June 8 and continue through Tuesday, July 21. All GMMO Swim Team members are welcome to attend practices at any of the four participating club locations. Using green dot low-compression tennis balls, the pace of play is slowed and the bounce is lowered, allowing for longer rallies and more enjoyable match play at an earlier age. This program is offered for two age groups: Ages 4–6 Ages 7–12 Matches will take place on Fridays, with all competition hosted at Medina Golf & Country Club. Players will serve from the service line and compete using no-ad scoring, with the first player to win four points winning the game.
