Mahjong 101
Mahjong 101 Thursday, October 15 5:30 pm Mahjong is having a major moment — and we're bringing it to Rivers Club members! It's one of the fastest growing social games in the country right now, and Pittsburgh is catching on fast. If you've been curious but didn't know where to start, this is your invitation. In this 2.5 hour hands-on lesson, you'll learn American Mahjong by actually playing it. We'll cover the tiles, the National Mah Jongg League (NMJL) card, the Charleston, and the rules of play. Then we bring it all together at the table and guide you through your first game with an instructor by your side. By the end of the night you'll know enough to say yes to open play, game night with friends, and whatever comes next. Limited spots available. Join us and meet other members, try something new, and have a fun evening together! $35 per person Reservation Required Register on the Invited App or by calling the club at 412-391-5227
