Of Nicholas’ first book, Freshwater Road, The Washington Post wrote that it was “impossible to praise the book too much” and called it “the best novel about the Civil Rights Movement ever written.” Nicholas will read from her highly acclaimed, recently release memoir, Finding Home at this event.
